Dildos
Dildos are sex toys used by both men and women. Dildos come in a variety of sizes, shapes and colours and are made from different materials. The most common type of dildo looks like a penis, it is flesh coloured and textured like a penis. Some dildos have testicles as well for a more life-like experience. Dildos can have a flared base, these are easier to use and the flared base makes it easier to hold onto the dildo and it also ensures that that the dildos does not get lost inside the vagina.
How to go about buying a dildo.
- The first thing is to decide what size you would like the dildo to be. Look at a variety of models and decide if you want a long one and also what size girth you would like. You can experiment with your fingers to see what length you like the dildo. If inserting your index finger all the way in brings you little pleasure then you know that you need a much longer dildo! If you like pushing your fingers to the side of the vagina walls then you know you like a dildos with a wide girth.
- What type of material would you like the dildo to be made from? Dildos come in a variety of materials. The cheaper ones are made from rubber, and most other dildos are made from silicone. There are more expensive models that are made from glass. Glass dildos are different in the sense they offer you different and varied pleasure as they can be heated up and chilled for a magical effect. Glass dildos can be put in the freezer to get this chilled effect, or they can have hot water run over them to heat them up. These are very popular because they give 3 different experiences; used normally (ie not heated or chilled), heated, and chilled. These dildos are not the best dildo for a first time buyer, they are best to use when you are familiar with using dildos.
- Choose if you would like a dildo with testicles or with a flared base, and choose your colour. There are a variety of colours available and maybe choosing a bright coloured dildo is going to enhance your experience!
- If money is a concern this might restrict which dildo you choose. If you take into the above factors this should help guide you to help you make the perfect dildo choose.
How to use your dildo
This might seem like an obvious question, but there area more ways than you think to receive pleasure from your dildo. You can:
- Rub the head of the dildo on the clitoris for stimulation.
- Oral insertion to simulate fellatio.
- Rub the head of the dildo against the head of the scrotum or rectum or even to rub stimulate the breasts with it.
- You can insert the dildo shallowly in the vagina to stimulate the labia minora.
- You can insert the dildo half way into the vagina with each thrust, at an angle, to stimulate the G-spot.
- Inserting the dildo fully into the vagina to stimulate the entire vagina
- The dildo can be inserted into the rectum, however if doing this it is very important to bear hygiene in mind. A dildo should never be inserted into the rectum and then to the vagina without being washed thoroughly. Bacteria is easily spread from the rectum to the vagina so it is very important not to do this. Also if you insert the dildo into the rectum then its best to insert a little bit at a time to get used to the feeling and to allow the muscles to relax. Plenty of lube should also be used when using a dildo in the anus.
Remember to keep your dildo clean in a safe spot and in a spot that you’ll remember to use it all the time!
